Selection Process of MICAT 2020

Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad will start the selection procedure of MICAT in first week of March 2020. The qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be shortlisted for MICAT selection process 2020. The selection process of MICAT includes Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI). The selection process will start from first week to third week of March 2020 in various cities in India. Interested candidates can register for MICAT 2020 in September 2019. The MICAT exam is conducted twice a year. Candidates can check the final result of MICAT in third week of March 2020. Selection Process of MICAT

Candidates have to clear MICAT 2020 to participate in the selection procedure of MICAT. MICAT selection is a 3- step process and certain weightage is assigned to all the three rounds of selection process of MICAT.

Step 1 — CAT/ XAT/ GMAT

Candidates need to appear in any one of the given below entrance exams and have a valid score.

• CAT 2019
• GATE (2018 onwards)
• XAT 2020

Aspirants have to update their score in the online application form after receiving CAT score, XAT Registration No. and GMAT score. They have to update the details on the official website before fourth week of January 2020.

Step 2 — MICAT Admission Test

Candidates have to appear in MICAT 2020 entrance exam, which consists of three sections:

• Section A: Psychometric Test (It is mandatory for candidates to clear this section)
• Section B: (has 4 sub-sections) — Verbal ability, Quantitative ability and Data Interpretation, General awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking
• Section C: Descriptive Test.

Step 3 — GD & PI

The shortlisted candidates have to take part in a personal interview and group exercise. Candidates who will appear in the selection procedure of MICAT 2020, they need to get at least 3.5 or more in the group exercise while they need to at least 4 or more in the personal interview

Candidates should be aware of the fact that that those who fail to meet the requisite cutoff, they will not qualify for the selection procedure. Post declaration of MICAT 2020 result, candidates will know if they have qualified to participate in the next round of MICAT selection process. MICAT I 2020 result will be declared in third week of December 2019 while MICAT II 2020 will be announced in third week of February 2020.
